The recent verdict by the Appeal Court in Yola, Adamawa state on November 24th 2022 greeted us with rude surprised which indeed troubled the political atmosphere of Taraba state.
The judgement which set aside the landmarks victory we got at the Federal High Court Jalingo on 20th September, 2022 has raised lots of concerns within the political ranks in the state where a large number of Tarabans including those who are not of the APC are left perplexed by this very bizarre Judgement.
The DSK political Organization are concerned that despite the availability of the overwhelming evidences presented by our amiable Legal team which proved in tandem with the judgement of the Federal High Court, that the APC Taraba state chapter didn't conduct neither participate in any Gubernatorial primary as affirmed by the returning officer of that supposed primary in a video evidence that went viral, only for us to now witnessed a sad event that the self-proclaimed Gubernatorial Candidate is pronounced as the authentic Candidate of the APC in Taraba State by the Yola Appellate Court, which left many questions on the lips of the people in the state.
For us in the DSK Political camp, the judgement was a clear violation and pervasion of justice. We are appealing to our teeming supporters, friends, well wishers and the purveyors of the quest for justice to stay calm and be resolute. That our Legal team, after a depth analysis which perused the said judgement have concluded plans to challenge the judgement at the Apex Court of the Land.
The DSK Political Organization wish to affirm to the public that, we will pursue Justice without relenting. While we note that there’s still a valid judgement by a Federal High Court in Abuja which vacated the self-proclaimed flag bearer of the APC in Taraba, we are as well filing an appeal to the Supreme Court to seek for proper redress.
We enjoined our teeming supporters who are very aggrieved as a result of this bizarre judgement to take a soothing breath because there is succour on the way just as there's light at the end of the tunnel. Our Principal Chief David Sabo Kente is known for his steadfastness and doggedness so he won't let this one go unchallenged.
