All Progressives Congress, or APC, leaders have been urged by President Muhammadu Buhari to come together to prevent loss in 2023.
To secure victory in 2023, according to Buhari, APC leaders must promote collaboration among one another.
In a statement released by his spokesperson, Garba Shehu, yesterday, he made the accusation in his hometown of Daura, Katsina State.
Dikko Radda, an APC candidate for governor of Katsina State, and Faruk Jobe were greeted by the president at his home.
He said “To succeed at elections, President Buhari asks APC to unify its ranks,” Buhari said party leaders need “to sit together to avoid divisions and ensure unit to avoid defeat at the elections.”
In 2023, the president promised to hold free and fair elections in Nigeria.
He emphasized that his commitment to ensuring a free and fair election was demonstrated by the results of the elections in Anambra, Ekiti, and Osun.
Buhari expressed his gratitude for the invitation and wished the party luck in the elections.
