In a solemn commemoration of the 2025 Armed Forces Remembrance Day, Senator Barau I. Jibril joined President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and other Muslim faithful at the National Mosque in Abuja for a special Juma’at prayer session on January 10, 2025. This significant gathering was dedicated to honoring Nigeria’s fallen heroes, their families, and the serving members of the Armed Forces.

Announcing his participation via his official media handle, Senator Barau shared insights into the event, stating, “I joined the President and Commander-In-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and other Muslim Ummah at the special Juma’at prayers in commemoration of the 2025 Armed Forces Remembrance Day at the National Mosque, Abuja, today.”

The senator highlighted the essence of the prayer session, emphasizing its role as an opportunity to reflect on the sacrifices of Nigeria’s military personnel. “The session provided us an opportunity to pray for our fallen heroes, their families, veterans, and serving members of the Armed Forces who are working tirelessly to secure our country.
